The nature and extent of government support will vary from project to project. However, in general, the average cost of assistance will be limited to Rs. 30,000 per BPL tribal family. Government support to the projects will be extended through the Tribal Development Department, which will leverage its TASP stream funds as well as funds of other departments. The government will also help in the development of project-specific infrastructure like construction and strengthening of roads, power and water supply, broadband connectivity facilities, etc. Since the programme is outcome-oriented, the state government will monitor project progress through every individual participating BPL family.
