Special Coaching Classes for Medial (NEET) & Engineering (JEE) Entrance Examination

OVERVIEW | In order to provide better opportunities to tribal students, TDD took up an initiative of conducting special coaching classes for the State Medical Entrance Examination NEET. Initially, training classes were started at 16 centers with an aim to enable the students to secure admission in Medical courses by passing the NEET exams. A total of 17046 ST students have availed benefits of this scheme. By 2019-20, there were as many as 129 NEET Training Centers and 5528 students got coaching for examination out of which 618 students are qualified.

Special coaching classes are also given to tribal students for Joint Entrance Examination for admission to various engineering colleges. TDD took up an initiative of conducting special coaching classes for the Joint Entrance Examination JEE. A total of 7427 ST students have availed benefits of this scheme. By 2019-20, there were as many as 87 JEE Training Centers and 1438 students got coaching for examination out of which 419 students are qualified.
