As
a result
of the Vanbandhu initiative, the financial allocation under TSP
increased from Rs. 5,640 Crore under the Tenth Five Year Plan (2002-07)
to Rs. 15,000 Crore in the Eleventh Plan (2007-12), the expenditure
against which was Rs. 17,200 crores. Buoyed by this,
the State Government has allotted an ambitious Rs. 40,000 crore in the
Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-17).
Over
the last four
years (2017-18 to 2020-21), the total financial allocation was Rs.
54510.99 Crore while expenditure of Rs. 46730.10 Crore was incurred,
which is 90.95% of the total revised allocation.
FINANCIAL ALLOCATION
AND EXPENDITURE FOR LAST THREE YEARS
The
financial allocation
for the year 2019-20 was of Rs. 14567.36 crore, of which Rs. 12808.77
crore was expended for tribal development-related activities. Financial
provision for TSP for the year 2020-21 including TSP state flow, Gujarat
Pattern and Nucleus Budget is Rs. 14106.42
crore of which Rs. 11120.53 crore was expended for tribal
development-related activities. Financial provision for TSP for the year
2021-22 including TSP state flow, Gujarat Pattern and Nucleus Budget is
Rs. 14463.08 crores.
