Pre Matric Scholarship

OVERVIEW | To encourage students to study, this scheme provides scholarship to students studying in Std. IX to Std. X.
OBJECTIVE | To provide economic support and motivate the Schedule Tribe students towards education
INCEPTION | 2013-14
PARTNER | Central Government Share: 75% + State Government Share: 25%
GEOGRAPHICAL FOOTPRINTS | All districts
INTENDED BENEFICIARIES | All Schedule Tribe students
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA | The Schedule Tribe Students whose family’s annual income should be up to Rs.2, 50,000/- And have cleared the previous standard in annual examination.
BENEFITS UNDER THE SCHEME | Students studding in Std. IX & X as Hosteller get scholarship of Rs. 6250/- per annum, and students studding in Std. IX & X as Day scholar get scholarship of Rs. 3000/- per annum.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS | In the year 2019-20, 163030 students have benefited.
