Agricultural Diversification Project

Under the Agriculture Diversification Project the farmers are provided with the high quality seeds and fertilizers along with training in advanced agricultural practices. The funding provision is made through the Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Plan (SCA to TSP) and minimal contribution made by the beneficiaries while the administrative support is provided by D-SAG and Project Administrators under TSP. Crops covered under Agriculture Diversification Project include Maize, Bitter Gourd, Bottle gourd, Okra, Tomato & Brinjal.

Integrated Dairy Development Project

The Project aims at creating a unit of at least four animals in each participant’s house by the end of the project period so as to make dairying into a viable full time activity. Two of these cattle are to be provided under the project and two cattle are to be developed at the beneficiaries’ home through project support in better cattle management and rearing practices.

Haats in Tribal Areas

Local weekly rural markets, also known as Haats, incentivize the rural population and ensure a platform to showcase and sell not only agricultural and allied goods but also the handicrafts, etc. Similarly, Tribal Haats are no different. As for Gujarat, there are about 182 traditional weekly haats in tribal areas.
